Bayern Munich have added themselves to the ever-growing list of clubs interested in Dani Olmo of Dinamo Zagreb, according to Bild.
The Bundesliga champions have been pursuing young wingers to add to the likes of Serge Gnabry and Kingsley Coman, following the departures of Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben. They have reportedly been pursuing deals for more established players of that ilk in Manchester City’s Leroy Sane and Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele, but their efforts have so far been unsuccessful with Dembele having no intention of leaving Camp Nou and City refusing to consider selling Sane.
They have therefore turned their attention to Olmo as an alternative target. The 21-year-old who joined Dinamo in a rather surprising move from Barcelona’s youth setup in 2014, has also been considered by Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United.
He has so far scored 29 goals in 127 games for the Croatian side, including the 25 appearances for their reserve team.
Commenting on the report, his advisor Andy Bara said there was no player in the world who wouldn’t want to play for a club as big as Bayern.
