Bayern Munich are reportedly ready to make their move to sign Real Madrid’s Isco Alarcon. That is according to Sport Bild, who claim the relationship between the Spain international and manager Santiago Solari has been severely damaged.
Isco has made only three appearances since Solari took over, all from the bench, and plenty of reports from a number of outlets have hinted at his growing frustration with the role he is being given.
The 26-year-old has never been a nailed-on starter for Real, despite his undoubted quality and the fact that he’s been with the club for five years. Carlo Ancelotti, Rafa Benitez, Zinedine Zidane and Julen Lopetegui have all come and gone from the Bernabeu dugout, and like Solari, none of them ever saw Isco as a first choice. He did play a lot, averaging just under 50 appearances per season, but it was mainly due to the injuries of Gareth Bale or for rotational purposes.
Nothing has changed in that respect, despite the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo, and it seems Bayern are ready to offer Isco a way out.
