Bayern Munich have reignited their interest in Barcelona defender Adriano Correia, El Mundo Deportivo understands.
The Brazilian full-back received an offer from the German giants in the summer of 2010, but he eventually opted to leave Sevilla for Barcelona.
However, the 27-year-old hasn’t quite managed to fulfill the expectations at Camp Nou and could decide to leave the Catalans in search of first team football.
According to Spanish newspaper El Mundo Deportivo, Bayern Munich are ready to return for the Brazilian full-back and they are now preparing a summer bid for the player’s services.
The Bavarians are looking for a versatile player who can cover several positions in defence and midfield, and Adriano perfectly fits the bill.
Bayern officials have already enquired about the player’s availability and are ready to make an official offer.
The player, who featured in 15 La Liga games this term, has a contract until June 2014 at Camp Nou.
