Bayern Munich’s Alphonso Davies has been heavily linked with a transfer to Real Madrid, with recent reports going as far as to claim the Canada international has already agreed to join the Spanish giants this summer or the next, when his current contract with the Bundesliga champions expires.
Now, according to Sky in Germany, Bayern are keen for him to make a decision about his future quickly. There is an offer of a new deal on his table, worth around €14 million per year before taxes. Davies and his entourage are believed to be asking for €20m, and Bayern won’t accept their demand. Their offer is final, and if it’s not accepted they’ll be willing to discuss a sale at the end of the season.
Bayern apparently see any potential delay as a waste of time as they make their plans for 2024/25. It’s clear they would prefer to keep hold of the 23-year-old left-back for the foreseeable future, but not at any cost.
