Bayern Munich are interested in signing Achraf Hakimi, currently on loan at Borussia Dortmund from Real Madrid, according to AS.
The 21-year-old right-back has impressed in a Dortmund shirt this season, scoring nine goals and laying on 10 assists in 44 appearances in all competitions. He is set to return to Madrid soon, but even though Real head coach Zinedine Zidane wants him back, he apparently isn’t too keen on playing a role of backup for Dani Carvajal at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Quite apart from that, the Bavarians want to make him a very lucrative offer, wages from €6 million to €7m, to move to the Allianz Arena instead of going back to Real, but it is believed he is more tempted by the prospect of taking the next step in his career while remaining in the Bundesliga, having adapted to the German top flight extremely well.
But if Bayern are serious about this particular signing, they will have to pay €60 million to get it done. Real won’t accept anything less, and he is contracted to the Spanish giants for two more years.
