According to a recent report from AS, Bayern Munich are not willing to pay the £105 million necessary to secure Philippe Coutinho on a permanent basis. The Brazilian is currently on loan with the German giants and has made a steady start to life in Bundesliga, however, it doesn’t appear as if Bayern are impressed enough just yet to fully commit to a permanent deal.

Remaining at Barcelona doesn’t seem like a possibility, either, opening the door even further for a switch over to the Premier League. Manchester United have made it known that they’d be interested in going after the playmaker, but if the option were available to him, it certainly seems as if Coutinho would prefer to go back to familiar surroundings with Liverpool.

The Reds are reportedly open to the idea of bringing him back on board, and now, it’s just a case of them actually making an offer.
