Italian forward Luca Toni is likely to feature in Bayern Munich’s German Cup clash with Rot-Weiß Oberhausen on Tuesday.

Bild newspaper reports that Arjen Robben, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Danijel Pranjic will all be rested in preparation of Saturday’s league game with Hamburger SV and next week’s Champions League clash with Juventus.

Luca Toni, who has been playing for the Bavarian side since 2007, was recently demoted to the club’s reserves team as manager Louis van Gaal no longer included the Italian in his plans.

The striker played his last game for Bayern’s first team against Stuttgart on May 23rd, and last scored against Hoffenheim a week earlier.
