Bayern Munich midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri is expected to leave Alianz Arena in the summer, according to his official representative.
The talented footballer joined Bayern from FC Basel in the summer of 2012, but has failed to establish himself as a first team regular despite showing a great deal of promise.
And it appears the 22-year-old is no longer prepared to wait for his chance at Alianz Arena, but rather plans to quit the Bavarians at the end of the current campaign.
His agent has also revealed that the likes of Inter Milan, Manchester United and Liverpool are showing interest in his client.
“He needs to play consistently and, at the moment, this isn’t possible at Bayern,” agent Erdin Shaqiri told Blick.
“Could he leave? There are clubs like Inter, Manchester United, Liverpool and others who are interested.
“If they confirm their interest, then we would be prepared to listen to offers.”
Xherdan Shaqiri has so far made 40 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern and managed 9 goals and 4 assists in the process.
Meanwhile, he has scored two goals in nine 2014 World Cup qualifiers for Switzerland and is expected to be one of team’s key players at the tournament finals.
