David Beckham has revealed he had numerous offers from various Premier League clubs to return to England instead of rejoining AC Milan on loan.
Speculation was rife over the return of Beckham, with several london clubs such as Tottenham and Arsenal linked with a move for the former England captain due to the proximity to his house in England.
However, Beckham told Sky Sports News: “There were options there [in England], but I always said that when I left Milan, if I had the chance to go back, I would go back there.”
“I am honoured they want me and I can’t wait to go back.”
When pressed further over the matter of returning to England, Beckham again revealed “There was a couple [Of offers].”
Beckham also revealed to press in the U.S.A that he never thought of leaving L.A Galaxy this season for a return to Europe.
Beckham said: “I always commited myself to the MLS and commited myself to Tim Leiweke and the whole franchise, and said that I would see it through.”
