Beckham offered bumper deal in Qatar

A report from the Sun is suggesting that David Beckham has been offered a two-year deal to join the Qatar Stars League and is weighing up his options ahead of his final career move.

It is thought that the deal he has been offered is the biggest so far in terms of money and if he accepts, then he could also become an ambassador for the World Cup in 2022, which Qatar are of course hosting.

When it comes to big names in football, the 37-year-old is up their on his own and what he would do for the game in Qatar would be huge. The only doubts are whether or not he would happily move his family there.

Some reports are even suggesting that Beckham is house hunting in England and wants one last crack at the English Premier League.

He was watching West Ham United take on Manchester United over the weekend, which sparked rumours that he might be joining the Hammers, but no offer appears to have been made.

Money might play a factor, but Beckham is likely to make his next move purely for football reasons, so it will be fascinating to see where he ends up.
