Cristiano Ronaldo and his situation at Manchester United have been subject of heavy speculation since the start of the summer, and despite no move happening and the season being in full flow between transfer windows, the Portuguese attacker is still being talked about in that aspect.
Ronaldo apparently felt (and still does, it seems) that Manchester United simply cannot help him achieve his ambitions at the moment, and at the age of 37, it’s not as if he has the time to wait for them to return to former heights. Therefore, he pushed to leave Old Trafford during the summer but failed to secure a transfer.
But according to journalist Pedro Almeida, as relayed by Marca, the man whose shirt No. 7 Ronaldo initially inherited at United, David Beckham, has been in contact with him, trying to convince him to join his Inter Miami in 2023, when his deal with United expires.
Beckham wants Ronaldo to replace his former teammate Gonzalo Higuain, who is expected to leave the MLS side by then.
