Anderlecht star Anthony Vanden Borre has suggested that he is ready to leave his current employers for greener pastures.
The 27-year-old, who has just returned from a difficult injury, has spent the majority of his career in Belgium, and he seems ready for a new adventure abroad.
While a return to English Premier League appeals to the full-back, he has moved to suggest that he could be moving to Marseille as well.
“A new adventure abroad? Yes, but with certain conditions,” Vanden Borre confessed to Sport/Foot Magazine.
“Marseille is a club that I like. A good club in England, if everyone is happy, why not.”
Anthony Vanden Borre came through the youth ranks at Anderlecht and was handed his first team debut at 16. He left the club in 2007 to join Genoa and also enjoyed spells with Fiorentina, Portsmouth and Genk before returning to Constant Vanden Stock in January 2013.
The Belgium international, who made one appearance at the 2014 World Cup, has since made a total of 29 league appearances for Anderlecht, while starting four Champions League matches.
