Club Brugge scored an emphatic away victory on their trip to AS Eupen, winning 4-1 in the Belgian First Division on Friday.

Third-placed Brugge took control of the match in the opening half-hour, with back-to-back goals from striker Wilfried Dalmat and midfielder Ivan Perisic in the 23rd and 24th minutes giving the visitors a healthy advantage at Stadion am Kehrweg.

There was no way back into the match for 14th-placed Eupen when Ronald Vargas scored goals either side of half-time to put the game beyond doubt, with his second coming in the 51st minute.

Eupen scored a consolation goal in the 90th minute, when Brugge goalkeeper Colin Coosemans put the ball into the back of his own net.

Brugge remain in third, level on points with Gent but still 11 points behind league leaders Anderlecht.
