According to the Daily Mirror this morning the expected permanent signing of currently on loan at Portsmouth, Nadir Belhadj may not go through. The Lens full back was expected to sign for £3.5million.
The Mirror says that Barcelona are among the clubs who have been impressed with Belhadj and that they are ready to join in the bidding for him.
The twenty-six year old French born Algerian international has been at Fratton Park since September and has played seventeen times, scoring one goal and impressing all with his ability and his blistering pace.
