Dynamo Kiev midfielder Younes Belhanda has expressed his desire to move to English Premier League at the end of the current campaign.
The Moroccan earlier revealed that he could be leaving Ukraine in the summer, and it appears that has become a certainty now.
Belhanda has stated his preference for English Premier League, with Arsenal the number one name on his wish list.
“How long will I stay at Dynamo? I don’t know. If I have opportunities to go higher, I will seize them,” the 24-year-old told France Football.
“I am dreaming about England. Every player wants to play in England one day. I have to experience that.
“My favourite club? Arsenal, of course. It is the club of Frenchmen. Newcastle as well, but they are a step below. Manchester City and Liverpool are exciting too. There are so many clubs with big histories. That is England.”
After making a name for himself at Montpellier, where he scored 26 goals in 127 league appearances, Belhanda joined Dynamo Kiev last summer.
He enjoyed a bright start to his career in Ukraine, bagging 6 goals in 18 league fixtures, but he has become disillusioned with life in Kiev following the riots that threatened to destabilize the country.
As a result, Belhanda hopes to leave Dynamo just one year after signing a long-term deal, and English Premiership does look the most likely destination.
