Bellerin dismisses move links

Hector Bellerin insists he will be playing for Arsenal next season, despite various rumours linking him with a move away from the Emirates, according to Sky Sports.

Bellerin has mostly been linked with a move to Barcelona over the past few transfer windows, ever since Dani Alves left Camp Nou. Midfielder Sergi Roberto has mostly been performing the right-back role for the Catalans, but the fact that it’s not his natural position has been evident on occasion.

However, Bellerin insists he won’t be moving back to his native Catalonia or anywhere else this summer, even though that means missing out on Champions League football for a second consecutive season, with Arsenal finishing sixth in the Premier League and crashing out of the Europa League in the semi-finals.

The 23-year-old points out that his contract is nowhere near expiring and that London is his home now. At the moment he’s not thinking about anything except Arsenal and the World Cup, hoping to get a call-up into the Spain squad.
