According to a recent report from The Mirror, Hector Bellerin is said to be ready to turn his loan spell at Real Betis into a permanent move.
Last summer, Bellerin signed a season-long loan deal that would see him move from Arsenal to Real Betis. It brought his 10-year stay with the Gunners to an end, at least temporarily, after he joined the club from Barcelona as a young player.
Bellerin was a childhood fan of Barca from a young age but his father supported Betis, which is one of the primary reasons why he was happy to take a pay cut in the name of spending time there this season.
Given that he played a key role in them winning the Copa del Rey, it shouldn’t come as any kind of surprise that he’s considering staying instead of going back to the Emirates – and we think fans should be expecting a decision sooner rather than later.
