According to a recent report from Tuttosport, Torino forward Andrea Belotti has signed a brand new contract with the Italian club. The 26 year old is considered to be a highly valued member of the first team, having scored 15 goals this season. He had been heavily linked with a switch across Serie A to Inter Milan, who are believed to be gearing up for a really big summer transfer window.

Alas, Belotti will not be going to the San Siro, having instead decided to remain in Turin until at least 2022. There’s always the possibility of clubs coming back in for him if he has another big season in 2019/20, but for now, Torino fans can breathe a big sigh of relief.

Belotti’s strength and finishing have often made him a popular forward for neutral fans of Serie A football, with some hardcore supporters likely remembering the glory days of using him on Football Manager.
