Ben Arfa doesn’t want summer sale

Le Parisien is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain forward Hatem Ben Arfa could clash with the club chiefs over his plans for the future.

With the player having another year on his €6 million per season contract, the Saints are prepared to offload him in the summer transfer window, for a fee between €3m and €5m.

However, Ben Arfa has no plans to help the club facilitate his sale as he will only leave in case the club pay him the €6 million for the final year of his contract and allow him to leave on a free transfer.

That is unlikely to go down well with new sporting director Antero Henrique, but the player and his agents are adamant they will not be changing their plans, meaning that the 30-year-old is likely to report for pre-season training on 4th July.

Following the outstanding season with Nice, Ben Arfa failed to register a single goal in 23 Ligue 1 outings for PSG.
