Ben Arfa makes Hull switch

Sky Sports understands that Hatem Ben Arfa has completed his season-long loan from Newcastle United to Premier League rivals Hull City.

The 27 year old moved to St James Park, initially on loan in the summer of 2010 and since went on to make eighty-six appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring fourteen goals and making eighteen assists.

His last appearance for the club came in the 1-0 defeat to Stoke City at the Britannia Stadium back in April, leading him to be linked with a move away from the North East club.

Turkish giants Besiktas and Championship side Birmingham City had been linked with a move to secure his services, but it is the Tigers who have got a deal over the line.

He is now set make his debut for Steve Bruce’s side when they take on West Ham United at the KC Stadium on Monday week.
