Benayoun completes QPR move

Championship promotion hopefuls Queens Park Rangers have completed the signing of Yossi Benayon after the midfielder was granted a work permit, the Mail Online understands.

The Israel international has put pen to paper on an eighteen month deal with Harry Redknapp’s side, who currently sit second in the second tier, behind Burnley on goal difference.

The 33 year old has been without a club since he was released by Chelsea at the end of last season, a club with which he won the Europa League.

Benayon has made almost 194 Premier League appearances across spells with the Blues, Arsenal, Liverpool and two with West Ham United, and will be keen to have the chance of adding to that tally, with the Hoops still favourites to clinch an immediate return to the top flight.

QPR are priced at 11/10 to win the division outright for the second time in four years.
