Bendtner completes Forest switch

Nottingham Forest have completed the signing of former Arsenal forward Nicklas Bendtner on a free transfer, according to the Independent.

The twenty-eight year old spent the last two seasons with Bundesliga side Wolfsburg, scoring just nine goals in forty-eight appearances in all competitions and will be keen to succeed after not quite reaching his potential thus far.

In seven season’s with Arsenal he racked up one hundred and seventy-one outings, scoring forty-seven goals while he has also had loan spells with Birmingham City, Sunerland and Juventus.

He was part of the squad that won the Serie A title with Juve in 2013 while he also has a winners medal in the German cup after helping Wolfsburg to success two years later.

Internationally, he has been capped seventy-two times for Denmark, scoring twenty-nine goals and was part of the squad that went to the 2010 World Cup finals and the European Championships two years later.
