Serie A strugglers Benevento are attempting to sign former Arsenal duo Samir Nasri and Alex Song, according to the Mail Online.
The side are currently rooted to the bottom of the Italian top flight and are thirteen points from safety with just fifteen games left to be played.
However, they are not prepared to give up without a fight and are looking to strengthen for one final push for survival.
Roberto De Zerbi’s men won two games on the spin at the turn of the year but followed those victories with three straight defeats to remain in trouble.
They brought in ex-Gunner Bacary Sagna last week having also agreed a deal for former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Sandro.
Nasri and Song are both available after being released by Atalyspor and Rubin Kazan respectively and the latter is currently training with Arsene Wenger’s side.
Next up for Benevento is a trip to Roma, with the away win priced at 16/1.
