Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola understands that the likes of Benfica and Sporting Braga are keeping close tabs on Beira Mar midfielder Pite.
The 19-year-old has come through the youth ranks at Beira Mar and he has largely impressed in his first ever professional season.
Pite has made a total of 29 league appearances for the second division side, starting 14 of those matches, and scoring 4 goals.
His impressive displays did not go unnoticed as Primeira Liga giants Benfica and Sporting Braga are reportedly keen.
The left-sided midfielder has a contract until June 2016 with Beira Mar, but there is a chance he could be leaving as early as this summer.
His suitors Benfica hold a seven-point lead at the Primeira Liga summit with just five games to go, and they have been made 1/4 favourites to see off Beira Mar at the weekend and make a giant step towards the league trophy.
