Benfica eyeing Gino Peruzzi

Portuguese giants Benfica are weighing up January bid for Boca Juniors defender Gino Peruzzi, according to O Jogo.

The Eagles have been far from satisfied with Barcelona loanee Douglas Pereira and have, therefore, decided to recruit a new right-back.

And while Coritiba starlet Dodo remains on their radar, Benfica are also hot on the trail of Boca Juniors full-back Gino Peruzzi.

The 25-year-old will be out of contract in December 2018, and he should be available for some €2.5 million in January.

Peruzzi, who also enjoyed a successful spell with Catania, only started 2 league games for Boca this term, meaning that a winter exit could be on the cards.
