The 22-year-old Swedish defender Victor Lindelof has emerged as one of the highest rated defenders in Europe, having already caught the attention of the host of European giants.
The likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and most recently Chelsea have already lined up behind Benfica’s defender who is likely to be one of the biggest transfer targets when the market re-opens for business in January.
Antonio Conte struggled to sign a number of his top defensive targets over the summer, opting ultimately to re-sign David Luiz and Marcos Alonso, but the Italian is still keen to bolster his options at the back and is ready to make a move for the hotshot defender.
Portugal champions Benfica are aware of the increased interest for their young star and the Eagles have already set the asking price for the Swedish international, according to reports from Le 10 Sport.
Having highlighted that PSG are not ready to give up on pursuit of the talented defender, the French media outlet suggest that Benfica will be looking to demand a transfer fee believed to be somewhere between €30 and €45 million.
