Portuguese newspaper O Jogo is reporting that Benfica are set to complete the signing of Paraguayan midfielder Jorge Luis Rojas Meza.
The Eagles have already agreed to sign Filip Djuricic from Heerenveen and Miralem Sulejmani from Ajax, and they are set to wrap up the third signing for the 2013/2014 season.
According to O Jogo, the Eagles have reached an agreement to sign Cerro Porteno midfielder Jorge Rojas. The deal will be made official once the player puts a pen to paper, subject to passing a medical.
The player will fly to Lisbon once he returns from international duty and he will sign a five-year deal with the Portuguese giants.
Jorge Luis Rojas is a right-sided midfielder who has spent his entire career at Cerro Porteno, but he has now been given an opportunity to represent one of Europe’s top clubs.
He has made a total of 53 league appearances for the Paraguayan club, but hasn’t scored a single goal in the process.
