Benfica are ready to offer Bayern Munich youngster Renato Sanches an opportunity to return to Estadio da Luz, according to Record.
The talented central midfielder had joined the Bavarians in a €35 million deal some two years ago, but has since utterly failed to impress.
Following a largely disappointing loan spell at Swansea City, Renato Sanches will soon be returning to Allianz Arena, but he is unlikely to stay there for much longer.
According to Record, Benfica are in talks to sign the 20-year-old on a season-long loan and give him the chance to get his career back on track.
Renato Sanches has largely struggled for form this season, making 12 Premier League appearances, and making the headlines when he passed the ball out of play, having mistook an advertising board for a teammate.
