Portuguese daily newspaper Record has suggested that Benfica have agreed to sign Serbian winger Andrija Zivkovic from Partizan Belgrade.
The 18-year-old caught the eye of several top European clubs with his performances for club and country, and it is now clear that he will be leaving the Serbian giants for greener pastures at the end of the season.
Chelsea and Roma were among clubs showing interest in the Serbia Under-19 international, but Record claims that Zivkovic eventually agreed a summer move to Benfica.
The Eagles have already done business with Partizan Belgrade, signing Lazar Markovic few years back before selling him on for substantial profit to Liverpool.
Despite his fragile age, Zivkovic has already amassed 60 competitive appearances for the Serbian club, scoring 11 goals in the process.
He is widely regarded as one of country’s hottest prospects and currently has just over a year left on his deal with Partizan Belgrade.
