Inter Milan coach Rafael Benitez estimated on Friday that he needs “two to three weeks” working with the full squad to fully impress his ideas upon the reigning Italian champions.
“I still don’t know how long the journey will take,” said the Spaniard, whose side host Udinese on Saturday in their second league game, having drawn 0-0 at Bologna in their opener.
“There are two or three things that need changing and at the same time we need to maintain what’s working well.
“The team I have is strong and we have time between now and January (when the winter transfer window opens) to see what we need to do.”
Inter begin the defence of their Champions League title with a group phase match against Dutch side FC Twente next Tuesday.
