France Football is reporting that Manchester City have taken a keen interest in Monaco full-back Benjamin Mendy.
It is no secret that Pep Guardiola aims to shake up his defensive options in the summer as the likes of Pablo Zabaleta, Bacary Sagna, Gael Clichy and Aleksandar Kolarov could all leave the club.
According to France Football, the Catalan coach has set his sights on Monaco starlet Benjamin Mendy.
The talented footballer had been on Guardiola’s radar even before he left Marseille for the Principality club, and he further impressed the boss in the Champions League tie against Manchester City.
It is believed that Manchester City are prepared to offer around €35 million for the 22-year-old footballer.
Mendy has been in excellent form this season, scoring 1 goal and producing impressive 10 assists in 33 competitive appearances for Monaco.
