Rennes custodian Benoit Costil is commanding a huge interest from a number of European clubs who are pondering the possibility of signing the French international this summer.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper will soon be available on free transfer given that his contract with Rennes is set to expire at the end of the season and Costil is free to negotiate with interested parties.
French sides Bordeaux and Nice are believed to be keeping tabs on the highly-rated shot-stopper, who has also found his way into the notebooks of Scottish rivals Celtic and Glasgow Rangers.
What is more, La Gazzetta dello Sport has picked up on a rumour coming from Turkey claiming that Costil is seen as a possible replacement for Fenerbahce goalkeeper and Turkey international Volkam Demirel.
The same source reminds that Serie A outfit Fiorentina were on the verge of signing the Rennes keeper last summer and that Viola are ready to reignite their interest once more.
