Portugal coach Paulo Bento is wary of the threat which Bosnia and Herzegovina will pose in the upcoming Euro 2012 play-offs.
The Euro 2004 runners-up have been drawn with the Balkan team in the play-off stage after both sides finished second in their respective qualifying groups.
The two teams faced each other in the 2010 World Cup playoffs, with Portugal coming out on top 2-0 on aggregate after two 1-0 victories.
Montenegro, Turkey and Estonia were the other sides Portugal could have been pitted against, and Bento was coy when asked if he was happy with the outcome of the draw.
“Bosnia are an opponent like any other, they deserve the utmost respect,” Bento told TSF. “We must do our job.”
“Now, we will analyse their team, see what their potential is, collectively and individually, and then we will prepare ourselves in the best possible way to meet our goals.”
Portugal, who finished runners-up to Denmark in the group stage, will travel to Bosnia on November 11, before the return leg at home four days later.
