Catalan daily newspaper Sport has suggested that Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema could be leaving Santiago Bernabeu in the summer.
The French forward has a contract until June 2015 with los Merengues and he has been offered a new deal by the club.
However, Benzema is reportedly unhappy by the conditions presented to him and the two parties are not even close to reaching an agreement.
And Sport understands that Real chiefs are ready to cash in on the player in the summer unless he accepts their offer in the coming weeks.
Karim Benzema remained the only high-profile striker in the squad following the departure of Gonzalo Higuain, but he has once again failed to prove his worth.
With the Frenchman having scored just 13 goals in 22 La Liga outings, it is hardly surprising Real are looking to offload him at the end of the season.
Los Blancos currently sit tied on points with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid in the league standings and are available at 5/4 for the league title.
