Arsenal have been linked with a move for Real Madrid forward Karim Benzema, according to the Daily Star.
The France international has been constantly linked with a move away from the Bernabeu over the past few years but has remained with the La Liga giants.
However owner Florentino Perez is planning a major overhaul of the teams attack next summer with Benzema one of the big names that could make way.
The twenty-nine year old managed nineteen goals in all competitions last season taking his tally to one hundred and eighty since signing from Lyon in the summer of 2009.
He is off the mark this season having netted in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup victory over Barcelona but is yet to score in the league.
Benzema has two league titles and two Spanish cups during his time in Madrid as well as the Champions League in three of the past four seasons.
