(GSM) – Lassana Diarra thinks Karim Benzema’s play will improve now that he’s settled at Real Madrid.
The 22-year-old striker struggled to make an impact in his first months at Real but seems like he rediscovered his form recently.
Benzema joined the Spanish giants from Olympique Lyon last summer but failed to live up to the high expectations in the beginning of the season.
Diarra says his fellow Frenchman is getting better with his Spanish and is getting along with his Real teammates.
“Karim has been seven months at Real Madrid and he is now vastly improved because he understands almost everything that is said,” revealed midfielder Diarra.
“Like everything in life, when you’re new you need some time to learn the language.
“He has made great progress in the locker room and is communicating well with teammates. We are now waiting for him to recover well from his latest injury.”
