Olympique Lyonnais striker Karim Benzema said the 1-1 home draw with Stade Rennais FC was akin to a defeat after the Ligue 1 leaders conceded an injury-time equaliser.
“We lacked speed and pace,” the league’s top-scorer said. “We did not create opportunities and Rennes were able to recover after they had a good game. Conceding in injury time is like a loss for us.”
