Benzema to stay at Real?

According to a recent report from AS, Real Madrid are ready to change their plans for the summer transfer window – with Karim Benzema now being set to stay at the Bernabeu. It seemed as if the Frenchman was destined to leave Real, but now, they may be looking at alternative possibilities. It’s no secret that Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are both on their wishlist ahead of the summer, but that doesn’t mean that Benzema is destined to depart the Spanish champions. Eden Hazard and Paul Pogba are also said to be on the verge of making their way to Real, which could be one of the other reasons as to why they’re reluctant to go after a striker now.

Benzema has had a strong run with Real when you look at his career from a statistical point of view, but there’s no way of getting around the fact that he’s had a few bumps in the road.
