Saido Berahino has said the he hopes to earn a move away from the Hawthorns this summer by scoring the goals to help West Bromwich Albion retain their Premier League status, according to the Mirror.
The 21 year old has scored fourteen goals in all competitions so far this season – his second campaign as a Baggies first team regular, and he hopes to continue his fine form in order to steer the Midlands club away from any fear of relegation.
Liverpool have been linked with a move for the striker, who won his first senior England call-up in November though he is yet to feature for Roy Hodgson’s side though he does have ten goals in thirteen appearances for the U21s.
West Brom were beaten by Tottenham Hotspur last time out – a result which keeps them just three points clear of the bottom three, and they can be backed at 4/1 to be relegated.
