West Bromwich Albion are on the verge of offering Saido Berahino an improved contract, according to the Mail Online.
The 20 year old has burst into the Baggies first team this season, with six goals in nine appearances in all competitions.
He has also made an impression for England U21’s with a further six goals in four games under Gareth Southgate.
The Burundi-born striker is currently one of the lowest paid players in the Premier League, earning around £850 per week – a figure which is set to rise to around £10k.
Arsenal, Everton and Chelsea have all been linked with the player, who was watched by England manager Roy Hodgson on Thursday evening as he scored twice against Finland.
He was suspended for the 9-0 rout over San Marino on Tuesday, but is set to return to action on Monday evening against Aston Villa and can be backed at 7/1 to open the scoring.
