According to the Daily Mirror Manchester United are on the verge of signing Tottenham’s Bulgarian striker Dimitar Berbatov next week. United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has allegedly said that he is is close to signing a new striker.
There has been much speculation about this move all summer but the Mirror is confident that it will come to a conclusion this week.
Sir Alex has been talking about the lack of strikers at the club and has made no secret of his admiration of Berbatov.
