Fiorentina youngster Federico Bernardeschi has been mentioned as a possible target for Italian champions Juventus, Tuttosport has suggested.

The Bianconeri aim to further rejuvenate their squad in the summer transfer window and they are keeping close tabs on the Viola starlet.

And while AC Milan are believed to be showing interest as well, Juventus appear to be leading the chase at the moment.

Federico Bernardeschi returned to Fiorentina after a very successful loan spell with Crotone, and he enjoyed a bright start to the current campaign.

The 21-year-old scored two Europa League goals while making five substitute appearances in Serie A, but he has missed last five months through an ankle injury.

Juventus officials, nonetheless, are confident he has got what it takes to succeed in Turin and could be making an official proposal at the end of the season.

Bernardeschi has so far made five appearances for Italy Under-21 side and scored two goals.
