MLS side Montreal Impact have opted against extending the contract of former Italy striker Bernardo Corradi.
The Canadian club announced on their official website a list of players for the 2013 season, with the Italian striker one of three players to miss out.
His compatriots Alessandro Nesta, Marco Di Vaio and Matteo Ferrari have been retained by the club.
Bernardo Corradi joined Montreal Impact on a free transfer from Udinese in March 2012 and enjoyed a good start to his career at the club.
Corradi scored 4 goals in 11 MLS appearances for Montreal, but then suffered a knee ligament injury in June that saw him miss the remainder of the season.
As a result, the 36-year-old was released from his contract and is now free to negotiate with other clubs.
Bernardo Corradi left a big mark in Serie A, scoring 52 goals in 241 league appearances, while representing Cagliari, Chievo, Lazio, Parma, Reggina and Udinese.
