Portuguese international Bernardo Silva has been in superb form for Manchester City this season.

The 24-year-old midfielder has been one of the outstanding performers in Pep Guardiola’s star-studded side, raking 6 assists and 5 goals in 26 Premier League appearances this season.

Having played in all but one league matches this season, Silva is one of Guardiola’s untouchables and the Spaniard has already labelled him as ‘undroppable’.

“To drop Bernardo Silva right now is almost impossible. It’s him and 10 other players right now”, Guardiola was quoted recently.

Silva’s flying form is said to have alarmed Real Madrid with growing reports suggesting that Los Blancos could try to make a move for the Portuguese in the summer.

Manchester City are highly unlikely to even discuss letting Silva go at the end of the season. Widely regarded as a long-term replacement for David Silva, his namesake Bernardo is expected to star in the City midfield for years to come.
