Turkish powerhouse Besiktas are said to have secured the signature of Serbia international Adem Ljajic.
Torino midfielder was reluctant to leave Italy after receiving backing from El Toro supporters but the final decision came down to two clubs which have reportedly already reached an agreement.
The 26-year-old attacking midfielder is expected to arrive in Turkey by noon on Friday and have his medicals completed before penning a deal with his new club, Haber 1903 has reported.
Besiktas secured a place in the Europa League group stages after beating Adem Ljajic’s former club Partizan 4-1 on aggregate and have made the final push to bolster their options at the centre of the park ahead of the international season.
Turkish giants have struggled in the final third of the pitch ever since Brazilian star Talisca left for Guangzhou Evergrande and it will be up to Adem Ljajic to take his place in the team and fill in the void in the attacking department.
