Besiktas and Trabzonspor want to sign Cedric Soares

Besiktas and Trabzonspor are interested in signing Cedric Soares from Arsenal in the January transfer window, according to Rudy Galetti. The Italian journalist has reported on X that the two Turkish clubs are already in talks over a deal for Soares.

Soares is out of contract at Arsenal at the end of the season. It is unlikely that the Premier League club will want to hand the 32-year-old Portugal international full-back a new deal. Galetti has added that Soares could leave Arsenal in the January transfer window.

The full-back has been on the books of Arsenal since 2020 when he moved to the Emirates Stadium on a permanent deal after a loan spell from Southampton. Soares has made 164 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career. The full-back has scored three goals, given 13 assists and has kept 33 clean sheets so far in his career.
