In-form Besiktas striker Cenk Tosun could change clubs during the January transfer market, the club president Fikret Orman has confirmed.
“If the proposals are very serious numbers and we need to sell to benefit the club, we will sell.”, Orman told Haber Turk.
The 26-year-old Turkish international has emerged as one of the hottest commodities in European football following his last season’s exploits at Besiktas and his club are prepared to casdh in on him.
Cenk Tosun scored 20 goals in 33 league appearances for his club, whereas he also added another 4 in European competition.
His rich vein of form continued this season with Cenk alarming the host of Premier League clubs with his displays.
Tottenham and Newcastle are believed to be leading the race for in-demand striker who is also eyed by Crystal Palace.
The Besiktas man is valued at €22 million which is the minimal sum interested parties will have to fork out in order to gain Tosun’s signature.
Cenk Osun played every minute of his country’s World Cup qualifiers against Iceland and Finland. His two goals against the Finnish were insufficient to help Turkey who have long lost any chance of getting to World Cup.
