Besiktas keen on Demba Ba

Turkish giants Besiktas are lining up a summer swoop for Chelsea striker Demba Ba, Fanatik has revealed.

The Black Eagles hope to clinch Champions League qualification this season and are already thinking about summer reinforcements.

According to Turkish daily newspaper Fanatik, Besiktas plan to make Cheslea’s Demba Ba their first signing of the summer transfer window.

The Black Eagles believe the Senegalese can prove to be an answer to their attacking problems and they hope the player would be interested in a switch to Turkish Super Lig.

Demba Ba has seen his first team chances at Stamford Bridge severely limited following the arrival of Samuel Eto’o, and he has started just two Premier League fixtures this season. The Senegal international scored mere 3 goals in 26 league outings for the Blues.

And with Jose Mourinho looking to finally recruit a world-class striker in the summer, everything suggests the 28-year-old will be offloaded come end of the season.
