(GSM) – Besiktas suffered their third defeat of the season in the Turkish Super League, losing 2-3 at home against Manisaspor.

Manisaspor began the day in the lower regions of the league table but handed Besiktas a first blow when scoring the opener through Isaac Promise in the seventh minute.

Bobo leveled seven minutes later but Jimmy Dixon restored Manisaspor’s lead in the 52nd. The third away goal came from Yigit Gokoglan in the 69th minute.

Fabian Ernst pulled one back in the 90th minute but it was too little, too late for the Istanbul giants.

Both sides were a man down by the end of the game. Besiktas’ Rodrigo Tabata was sent off in the 54th minute and Eren Aydin of Manisaspor followed in the 81st.
