Turkish giants Besiktas have announced the signing of Brazilian full-back Ramon de Morais Motta from Corinthians.
The Black Eagles were showing interest in Dutch footballers Alexander Buttner and Edson Braafheid, but ultimately opted to go with the Brazilian.
Ramon arrives on a six-month loan from Corinthians, following another loan stint at Flamengo.
The 25-year-old came through the youth ranks at Internacional, but it was a loan spell with Vasco de Gama that kick-started his career.
He went on to join the club on permanent deal, but quickly moved on to sign for Corinthians.
Ramon also failed to prove his worth at Estadio Municipal Paulo Machado de Carvalho, making just 21 league appearances before joining Flamengo on loan.
After featuring in 4 league games for Flamengo, the defender has been given a chance to impress in Europe, with fellow Brazilian Dentinho, who was his teammate at Corinthians, expected to help during the adaptation process.
